On Saturday, September 16, 2023 our Preventing Generations of Incarceration (PGI) Program served at their first volunteer opportunity. Our youth, from both WIGS and FADES, helped local Vision Community Church for their first Family Day. They helped handle food, clean up, engage with the community and assist with activities. The church provided food, drinks, music, raffle prizes and more. Everyone had a blast!
We are confident their communication, relationship building and teamwork skills have improved. We look forward to the rest of our time together and serving Fredericksburg. Enjoy the pictures!
