Second Chance Month Interviews
In honor of Second Chance Month-Interview with Mrs. Kim Meekins & Ms. Marlene Pultz
In honor of Second Chance Month: I had the good fortune early in the ministry to team up with "In His Care" Prison Ministry taking monthly trips to Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia. During this time I met Mrs. Kim Meekins and Ms. Marlene Pultz. My worship experience with them and others there forever changed my life. I was able to witness a personal relationship develop and their lives transform because of Jesus Christ. The changes and freedom they experienced actually started while incarcerated. While in Anderson and since their release, Kim and Marlene became leaders in ministry being responsible for the spiritual development of others. Imagine having to be responsible for yourself, your family, and others while dealing with the consequences of past decisions or actions that were unlawful. I am privileged to witness a very determined and resilient Kim and Marlene destined to WIN despite all the obstacles from having a criminal record. I invite you to listen to the Second Chance restoration interview of two phenomenal Women that are now focused on encouraging and leading other returning citizens to a life of victory. I pray that you are as inspired and filled with hope as I continue to be. A wonderful life is possible after incarceration. I look forward to working with Kim and Marlene on a few Failsafe Ministry Programs focusing on second chance opportunities. But for now...Enjoy! Remember to hit that share button.
In honor of Second Chance Month-Interview with Mr. Tony Roman
With great pleasure I sit with my friend and fellow Failsafe-ERA Board Member, Mr. Tony Roman as he shares his story with our audience. I tell you every time I hear Tony speak I'm amazed all over again of the transforming power of the Love of Jesus. Many in this world will have you believe that your failures will leave you destroyed with no hope of reconciliation or restoration BUT there is always a Second Chance if you believe in hope and your future. Tony found out that was/is Gods plan for him. He is uplifted every morning with his personal conversation with God through these divine words from scripture: "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint," Is 40:31 and "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7 I KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO BLESS as you witness the Grace, Mercy, Faithfullness and Love of God Tony experienced and continues to experience with his family. His Second Chance led to a Victorious life. Enjoy Tony's story, be encouraged, and please share with others.
Second Chance Month Interview with Ms. Aretha McDowney
During the month of April we focus on Second Chances with those returning from incarceration. Today Pastor Phyllis invited Ms. Aretha McDowney to speak encouragement that are facing the hurdles as a result of a criminal record. After being incarcerated three times Ms. McDownet finally took ownership of her life. You want to hear her story of restoration.
Second Chance Month interview with Ms. Melissa Daniel
As we continue our focus on Second Chance Month I am pleased Ms. Melissa Daniel accepted my invitation to share her story. After being incarcerated in various jails in Virginia Melissa found strength through her faith to finally commit to making the changes needed to reclaim family, friends and home. What I love most about Melissa's journey is she's always felt a need to pray for others as well as herself. Despite the many obstacles Melissa is well on her way to recovery with plans to start a new job soon. I pray you enjoy her interview as much as I did. Be encouraged!
