SOUNDING THE ALARM

Sounding the Alarm is a proactive early-intervention initiative designed to identify warning signs, disrupt harmful patterns, and respond before youth and families reach a point of crisis. The program focuses on increasing awareness, accountability, and timely support when behaviors, environments, or circumstances indicate elevated risk. By addressing challenges early, Sounding the Alarm helps prevent deeper involvement with the justice system and promotes healthier outcomes for youth and their families.

Central to this work is the Youth Empowerment Initiative, which equips young people with the tools, confidence, and voice they need to make positive choices and advocate for their own futures. Through mentorship, life skills development, and peer-based support, youth are encouraged to recognize their potential, build resilience, and take an active role in shaping their paths. Together, Sounding the Alarm and the Youth Empowerment Initiative create a strong foundation for prevention, growth, and lasting change.
