Gary Holland is a faith-driven technology leader, nonprofit founder, and community advocate who bridges the worlds of ministry, corporate innovation, and grassroots organizing.
As a leader at Zion Church of Fredericksburg, Gary serves in pastoral ministry, helping to cultivate prayer, spiritual growth, and community engagement in the Fredericksburg region. He is a familiar voice in weekly prayer gatherings and church initiatives that emphasize unity, intercession, and practical support for families in the area.
In the nonprofit arena, Gary is co‑founder, along with his wife of 30 years, Janette, and vice president of ACT‑ENOUGH, Inc. (#ENOUGH!), a 501(c)(3) organization “laser focused” on empowering communities through support, resources, and strong connections for lasting change. Under his leadership, ACT‑ENOUGH, Inc. has helped sponsor and organize culturally rooted celebrations, civic engagement efforts, and community events that center Black history, youth, and collective well‑being across the Stafford–Fredericksburg area. The organization’s impact has been recognized by the Virginia House of Delegates through an official commendation resolution for ACT‑ENOUGH, Inc. and its service to the Commonwealth.
Professionally, Gary brings more than a decade of experience in enterprise technology to his ministry and nonprofit work. He serves as Global Director of Value & Solution Engineering at BMC Software, where he leads teams that specialize in mainframe modernization and AI‑driven automation for some of the world’s largest organizations. His role focuses on connecting complex technical solutions to real business outcomes, building high‑performing global teams, and crafting ROI‑driven strategies that help senior leaders navigate digital transformation.
