SOUNDING THE ALARM CAMPAIGN
FOR OLDE GRENWICH PLAYGROUND BUILD
NOTE: Givebutter is a fundraising platform which offers non-profit organizations a free suite of tools that includes payment processing. You will see a box suggesting that you add a small tip to Givebutter to support such free access to their platform, which is a much needed cost savings to FailSafe-ERA. If you would like to leave a tip, use the up/down arrows to select the amount of your tip: $2, $1, or Other (your customized choice from $0 and above).
This is not required to make a donation.
When entering your donation, you will also have the option to cover the standard credit card
processing fee (currently 6.1%) so FAILSAFE-ERA will receive 100% of the donation.

HELP US BUILD HOPE WHERE TRAUMA ONCE LIVED
One year ago, our Olde Greenwich community experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A shooting involving eight young people forever changed the lives of families throughout the neighborhood.
Three youth lost their lives.
Five youth entered the criminal justice system. The ripple effects of that violence are still being felt today.
What many may not realize is that the children of Olde Greenwich were spared from being directly in the line of fire only because they did not have a playground. Their "playground" had become the streets where the shooting occurred.
Today, many families continue to carry the trauma. Residents share that children still have no safe place to play, gather, learn, and simply be children.
Through our Sounding the Alarm on Youth Violence Initiative, FailSafe-ERA is partnering with community residents and the HOA to help bring healing, restoration, and hope back to Olde Greenwich. One of our most important goals is to build a family-centered playground and community space where children can safely play and families can reconnect.
We are launching a campaign to raise $250,000 to make this vision a reality.
This is more than a playground.
-
It is a symbol of healing.
-
It is an investment in our children.
-
It is a commitment to public safety.
-
It is a statement that our community refuses to let violence define its future.
We invite businesses, foundations, faith communities, civic organizations, elected officials, and compassionate community members to join us.
Together, we can transform a place once marked by tragedy into a place filled with laughter, hope, and opportunity.
Every donation matters. Every partnership counts. Every child deserves a safe place to play.
