Annual Black Tie and Scholarship Program

FailSafe-ERA is hosting its Fourth Annual Scholarship Program and Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, April 7, at the Fredericksburg Hospitality House and Conference Center in Fredericksburg, Va., from 6 – 10 p.m. Our scholarship program allows returning citizens and those family members affected by the incarceration, begin their reentry back into communities in the region.

Each year, more than 600,000 inmates are released from federal and state prisons back into our communities. Another 11.4 million inmates cycle through local jails, before they return to their communities. In addition to scholarships to help families make this transition smoother, FailSafe-ERA’s ultimate goal is the construction of the FailSafe Center of Hope – a physical “safe harbor” from which we will help improve the lives of those individuals in our region – along with their families – who have been affected by incarceration. The proceeds from this fundraiser will not only help fund FailSafe-ERA’s educational programs, but also helps move us closer to our goal of opening the Center of Hope to help those returning to society become successful, productive and trustworthy citizens in our communities.

Approximately 300 guests are expected to attend this gala, which will include local officials and VIPs, as well as state and community leaders.
