Courage to Change Interactive Journaling Program at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Every 5 weeks we have the honor of graduating inmates from the Courage to Change Interactive Journaling program at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.  It brings us joy to hear how much they are enjoying the classes, learning how to better manage their emotions and resolve conflicts.  They give us permission to share pictures of them graduating.  They said it’s better than sharing their mugshots.  Congratulations to our August graduates!!!

They have the courage to change, starting on the inside, thanks to our facilitators:  Lou Kelley, Charissa McCall, and Henry Carey (Rudy).

"Labels are for products, not people - we are human", says Samantha, as they learn about self-worth.

The ability to provide this training is made possible through grants from Reform Alliance and the Rappahannock Region Community Foundation.
