When tragedy shook Olde Greenwich, our community showed up!
This weekend was truly a humbling experience as we hosted our very first “Sounding the Alarm” on Youth Violence community event at Olde Greenwich, a neighborhood still feeling the impact of the senseless violence that took place in April.
We stood with residents, in solidarity and support, who witnessed the shooting. Many expressed deep gratitude for the wide range of resources that were provided from backpacks filled with school supplies, food, and clothing, to the prayer tent offered by Hope Aglow Empowerment Church, and so much more.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community, and our amazing vendors and organizations. Thank you for turning pain into purpose and making this day one to remember.
