We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Board member, Bobby. His unwavering dedication and tireless commitment to our mission were instrumental in the success of our organization.

Bobby was not only a leader but also a servant-hearted champion for those individuals that society often overlooked.

From helping launch the very first Speechcraft Toastmasters for Youth program at the juvenile detention center to mentoring returning citizens (formerly incarcerated) with compassion and wisdom, Bobby lived his values every day. Though he had never been directly impacted by incarceration, he carried deep empathy for those who had. He would often remind us, “But by the grace of God, I could have been there.”

His humility, sincerity, and willingness to help wherever needed made him a true soldier of community service.

Bobby was a pillar in our community and his absence will be felt profoundly, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his loving wife and children. May you find comfort in knowing how many lives Bobby touched and how deeply he was loved and respected.

With deepest sympathy,

Juanita Shanks and the FailSafe-ERA team.
